I have the last release of DVD X Copy Platinum and I was thinking about buying one of the new dual layer burners, does anyone know if X Copy supports dual layer burning or not. If X Copy does not support dual layering, does anyone have any suggestions as to what other pieces of software do support it so that if I do end up buying the new writer I will no longer have to compress my dual layer dvds.

Have you seen the price of the media?
Doubt it supports it, as I would think it too old. Most software that is still being developed supports dual layer.

DVD Shrink does and is way better, FREE too. www.dvdshrink.org/
As for burning the film you can use Nero, CopytoDVD to name a few (latest versions).
