dvd with linear pcm audio

Hi, I have an NTSC All Region Music DVD which I want to make a copy of onto a DVD-R. The frame rate is 23.976 and it has Linear PCM Audio. So, even after compressing the video with CCE, the frame rate is incorrect for authoring programs like SpruceUp. It has to be 29.97. I have used ForceFilm in DVD2AVI and selected Linear PCM under Channel Format to create my d2v file for import into CCE after using the vfapi convertor. Can anyone help me with this? I realise I may need to run pulldown on the finished m2v but I have no idea whatsoever about command line utilities and how to load the program or submit an argument to point to the m2v. Thanks.

you should always run pull down for film format movies in cce.
Linear pcm is a wave format. Use Headache or besweet or similar (I cant remember which one.I've got them all! lol!) to convert to mpa/mp2/ac3. Then it will load into Spruceup.
As for command lines from within CCE..................I'll let someone else have that 1! ;)

Thanks Dave, you've been a great help.. however, out of curiosity I tried loading my vob's into dvd2svcd and it detected 3 audio streams, one being ac3 so at least I know it's available, it's just a matter of ripping it but I only have the vob's now, I can't re-rip the audio from the dvd as it's been sent off to a friend :( Perhaps the marvellous Chickenman may be able to assist with me the pulldown function.... Chickenman, if you're reading this, I have a music dvd that I want to copy onto dvdr but I want to compress the video with CCE. I've attempted to do the usual dvd2avi routine, pressing F5 to see the properties, when it runs it's NTSC then changes to NTSC 100% then on and off it changes to FILM and flickers between the two. If I choose ForceFilm, when I press F5 again the frame rate alters to 23.976! Do you know if I can make a d2v file without using ForceFilm and then use the field order and progressive options in CCE after?
