DVD to SVCD problem

I followed the tutoriul word for word. However when i when t the folder I didn't see even 2 mpg or anything. I found the AC3 audio file and a video file that won't play in win DVD. Its actully to small to be a vid file att all only about 38 mb. Also where it says:

10. Click the Frameserver tab and select Resize Method to be Bicubic Resize. Make sure Resize is set to SVCD ('cause thats what we are making folks!).
I don't get it how do you do that?

Please help me!

In the "Misc" tab, "DVD2SVCD Level" should be set to advanced. Then u can set the "Resize" to your needs...

If u followed the tut everything should be fine... More details are welcome, if we are going to help u...

what cpu do you have?
I think u chose the wrong format also, 4:3 is a strange one for a modern dvd, altho this does not explain why cce crashed, which it must have done.
Did u get an error message at all?

well i was convertig vob to SVCD and the DVD have a widescreen picture but i wated full for i ticked 4:3. Also I wasn't here when it crashed i was at a freinds house.

CCE recomends a 550mhz Pentium 3 as minimum for encoding. Looks like its upgrade time.

TMPGEnc recomends P3 500mhz, maybe try that.

You quote your PC clock speed at 501.6 mhz, is it a 450 overlocked ? If so, that IS your problem.

TMPGenc is limited to 2 Pass VBR for best results, while CCE can do 3, 4 ,5 or more passes and a small improvement with each pass (VERY small after 3 passes though). Hey if it works, then use it, 1000's do daily. If CCE doesnt work then you dont have much choice untill you upgrade, simple as that.

Just do a conversion to SVCD with TMPGenc and check the quality. If its waht you like they stick with it. If you want better, upgrade !

Just use the DVD to SVCD tutorial but select TMPGenc in DVD2SVCD and select 2 Pass VBR for encoding. Leave all the others at defaults.
