dvd to mpeg

i new to this stuff so be nice lol any iam trying to rip dvd to mpeg how do i do it and what prog do i use cheers and one more thing what is an easy prog to rip dvd bean useing movie jack 3 but only in demo mode got key with it but loads of prob only goes up to 88% prob herd all this before so i not bore u with

It really depends on what flavor of MPEG you want to end up with. But, at it's simplest, use DVD Decrypter to rip the VOBs from the DVD. Use file mode and set the options for one large VOB file. Then rename the VOB to MPG. Voila.

This will give an mpeg with all the languages so if you try to play it, you will hear all the languages together....at the same time.
I use DVD Decrypter to rip the VOBs in IFO MODE and then "Enable" "Stream Processing" select the language i want and "Direct stream copy" and then rename the vob to mpeg. So i have a clear mpeg2/dvd file with AC3 sound in the language i want, and can convert it as what i want. The problem is, if i want subtitles, so the best way is... guess what.... CM´s TUTORIALS !
