DVD to Diff format

Ok I am very new here so please don't flame me if I put this in the wrong place.

Here is what I am trying to accomplish. 1st off the DVD that I am trying to do this to is one that I had made for my company, so I own all the rights to it. What I would like to do is take the DVD and be able to package it up in a good quality format and send it off to my remote sales people via and FTP or web download to see before their actual DVD shows up in several weeks. What format can I do this in?

My people all have windows XP pro Laptops so I would like to use media player for them to view it. Would like to do this with out them having to load any new software, or codec’s to support this. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

DivX would be a good small file but the sales people need to install codec/software to get it viewable. VCD (mpeg1) would be the smallest in size and playable by any version of WMP. SVCD would be bigger but better quality, but WMP out of the box wont play them either. So VCD would be the best in this situation.

WMV9 might work that is if they have updated to WMP9, you don't have to use wmm either. WMV8 would definatly work and you still should get better quality per MB than MPEG1. Nic did a little WMV encoder some time back, takes AVISynth scripts as input.
