ok.. i tried using that tutorial.. it seems pretty easy..
but when i start the encoding process with vidomi.. and leave it overnight..
when i come back in the morning.. the computer is frozen.. and so i have to restsrt the computer.. losing all the encoding done..
does anyone know what the problem is?
thanx..

I wouldn't recommend Vidomi. Perhaps try AutoGK.

Although personally I encode using XviD devapi4, which means automated tools are pretty much out of the question due to the constant changes, so I haven't actually tried AutoGK.

I wouldn't recommend VFAPI. It will force a RGB24 colourspace conversion which will result in a) longer encoding times and b) lower quality. Instead use AVISynth v2.5.x and keep the whole process in YV12. You will also need to use a program which supports YV12 for encoding such as a recent version of VirtualDub or any version of VirtualDubMod making sure to use fast recompess. Also AVS2AVI would work.

As I said though AutoGK, which uses AVISynth and VDubMod, but does the work for you. As for tutorials, I got the impression that it was the kind of program which didn't need them.
