dvd stripper help

I dont know if im doing right asking for help here, but i dont know how else to ask . as emails out , i just puchased dvd stripper and recieved it by email , but as i try to set it up I get some message about
Failed to load control CommonDialog from COMDLG32.OCX may be outdated
Make sure you are using the version of control that was provided with your application . huh ???? :(

in still lost here ,im wondering if its realy worth it i know you folks are busy but i only ask for help when i really need it , trouble is im nearly blind. and jetting me post to post isnt very helpful . not when you have a 13 year old reading the info to you who would rather be watching flippin dragonbal z
i would try email but that too is a half hour read .
bye folks... I will blame my son and take the £14 from his pocket money lol

rabbie, when did you buy DVDStripper?, I have a feeling you are the person I'm looking for if you just bought it within the last few days

have you managed to register the files so that DVDStripper loads?

if you need any extra help let me know :)

hmmm where do i start .. i got the programe started in the fact that i got the info with regards to registering , but after i used the reg key things started going bad , my pc wouldnt start , freezing up , errors and things . i checked for viruses but nothing .. i did get as far as to rip the cd with dvd decrypter
once . eventully i just couldnt get the pc to start . i had to re-programe it
then i discovered now i just cant get it to work ..
I only wanted the dvd stripper for removing trailers. i weill just carry on with dvd decrypter and copy movie only ...

@rabbie00, I think you are due a refund as you must have bought DVDStripper using a link from elsewhere

dont worry about the refund , i downloaded 0.3.0 and it its working fine . so take the refund as a donation and keep up the good work :)

you sure?, as I don't really think you should pay for it as this is why it's been offline for a while until we decided what we were going to do and I didn't want anyone feeling hard done by

I appreciate your generousity and I'm also pleased to hear it works :) but let me know if you have any more issues as most can be overcome ;)

its cool you guys deserve all the support you can get . dvd decrypter and dvd stripper are excellent programes ..

no more issues one tiny question . the source only shows as a drive letter it doesnt show device ie plextor or pioneer . is this normal as it still rips okay ?

I got that on a Win98 system I tried and I've also noticed that creating a virtual drive with Alcohol120% affects the names also

it's nothing to worry about as long as you know which drive is which :)
