Could you tell me what is the best software to use for the above.

If your going to use Nero, get Nero 5.5.8.2, NOT Nero 5.5.9.0. Youll need the Nero MPEG2 SVCD Encoder 1.2 plug-in. If ya don't like Nero, try RecordNow MAX 4.1. You can download Nero 5.5.8.2 at our homepageCD-R Soft I'm not sure if our hompage page offers RecordNow Max 4.1, but the program can be downloaded at hxxp://kickme.to/cdr-dl

hmm U don´t need this PLUG IN !!
Just install Nero without any plugins ...
if u want to copy movies ... just follow the tutorials

My bad, I was looking very fast and thought he had a Pioneer dvd-rom. I just looked again and I see he has a Pioneer dvdr-104.
My mistake, sawwy all.
