DVD Software anygood?

Don't want to disharten you, but if you're seriously into video, forget Win 9X/ME...
With a machine like yours Win2000, XP or Linux should work mighty fine, without any issues- true 32-bit OS'es and true multitaskers.
9X is in fact DOS with GUI, really unsuitable for demanding tasks like video editing and/or multitasking.

Yah, From what I've been reading I'll do alot better w/XP. I just don't have the cash for another OS. When I burn I'm going disable the Screen Saver, not touch the mouse and hope I don't end up with a coaster.

Hey Viper can I back up my PS2 games with that software as well?

Thanks guys for the input!

I agree you should forget about 98. I would also recommend a bigger hard drive and yes you need aspi's installed. You should do some read cause you also need to format your harddrive to NTFS so it will suport files bigger than 4gig (I think thats the size that fat 32 has a problem with). Good luck. :)

Thanks, I'm working on getting XP.

What about the software I posted does anyone know if it's any good? They both claim to do the same things...

yah know i was on 98se for about 3 maby 4 years and swore i would never upgrade to xp but you know what ?! i experimented with a spare drive i got from another machine with xp with a view to sorta beta run testing it for myself ..... and you know what ... once you patch up XP and secure it with relevant updates then XP is pretty much BOMB PROOF as far as O.S. go for stability im a CONVERT to XP :)

and burning dvds with it IS A BREEZE :D

sure other O.S. are solid too if used correctly and updated as and when but 98se is long gone in the history of O.S. in my system :)
