DVD Shrink Lives on - For now

According to ddlooping @ digital-digest forums we can expect v2.4 of DVD Shrink very shortly!

I have been informed by dvdshrink that the next release (v2.4) will be in available in a couple of weeks.
No details concerning the new features (if any) or fixed bugs are yet available.

So even though Mr DVD Shrink has moved over to Ahead it seems to help develop Recode DVD Shrink goes on - for now. Be interesting to see if this is a long term thing or the last version of Shrink.

Let's just hope it is long term!

It would be a great shame if development came to a halt , but i can live with 2.3 as it does all i want anyhow and you wont find a cheaper version anywhere. lets hope he keeps up the good work but i fear Ahead will see it as a conflict of interest

Well look at it this way did Daemon-Tools development stop when they helped Ahead out with their VirtualDrive? Although I guess it still doesn't support NRG images unless the Nero drive is installed.
