DVD Shrink 3.2 Burn Problem

I'm getting a coaster now & then when using DVD Shrink 3.2.

*Most* of the time it works like a charm.I'm hoping,by including the error log here,a solution can be found for even better results.I highlighted one piece of the log that was the only thing that stuck out.It mentions DVD +R media. The actual DVD media in use is Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD -R .
Thank's for any help.

Is this the problem?? The DVD media used was DVD-R (TYG02).

Did you buy them from shop4tech and they had the name Matrix 8X DVD-R?
Cause from what I'm reading they are fakes. Even Optodisc is selling media using Taiyo Yuden's 8x DVD-R code (TYG02). Have you tried any other media?

Oh come on.We,or I certainly can,do without another paranoia excuse.Of course I have.Ritek 8x that are crap & won't burn except @ 4x.Prodisc 8x burn fine except for the same prob noted.Same for Verbatim, ect ect ect.I got the TY's from CD Dimension & they sell legit.

And if that crap re the serial number should not be there why does the software print it??All I ever see from the code writers is "include error logs".

This is getting REAL old with the lame excuses.Heck....I know I'm a nu-b @ this business.I would have thought the non-nu-b's could come up with something better than the "it must be your media" crap.

I'll learn to deal with the coasters.

Have a nice day.

No need to be rude about things!

If you do not like an answer that someone has kindly taken time to give then that's one thing, but to be rude about it and flame that person on this forum is a complete NO-GO.

Next time please show some manners when you post and some respect for whoever responded with a reply even when it might not be the answer you were looking for.

(Medium in drive: unknown. Medium required by compilation: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R9 Double Layer.)

That means you will most likely need one of these (or all):
1. A newer drive firmware version being able to cope with the inserted media.
2. Another media brand.
3. Another lame excuse for your next coaster.

Notice also this:
File 'Drivers\PXHELP20.SYS': Ver=2.03.01a, size=20368 bytes, created 10/3/2004 12:25:40 PM (Prassi/Veritas driver for win 2K)
Nero won't be very happy for that fact, I guess (as an emperor he is quite picky about his partnerships).

Suggesting going out and 1. buying a couple of other media to try, 2. buying some decent manners.
