dvd rips from states playin black and white

can u help a few origanal rips from states that i have redone seem to work fine on most but a couple of times on 2 players the same 1 was black and white 1 was colour and on a couple of playstation 2's as well i think i no whats wrong but can any1 help my thought id that the players havin trouble because its a american rip meaning i think its a pal would appreciate the help

USA is NTSC.

you need to use a switchable PAL/NTSC player for normal standalone dvd players along with a fully wired SCART/PERITEL cable to force the VIDEO mode from 50hz PAL to 60hz NTSC

for ps2 you need to use ps2 dvd region X
