DVD Ripping Question

Heya everyone, I have (hopefully) a simple question. I have some DVD's of music performances, and I would like to rip some scenes from them. Not the whole DVD's mind you, just a scene or two from each one, then I will compile my own "best of" DVD from the scenes I ripped.

Problem is I can't figure out a way to do this (I am new to all this stuff). Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Most Music dvd's have each song/performance as a Chapter. Therefore try ripping the dvd with dvd decrypter but tick ONLY the chapter you want. Playing it on the PC and jumping to chapters will tell you which chapter it is you want.

If they arent in chapters, then use MPEG2Cut to cut the VOB (thats been decrytpted to your HD first) to the bit you want.
