dvd recorder back up problem

i am trying to back up a copy of a film copyied with a dvd recorder
i am using nero 6 ,the process seems to copy ok when the back up is played on the dvd player only half the menu screen shows and on some other players it sticks on the screen saver .
please help my head is gettig sore,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Try using DVD Decrypter in FILE mode to copy ALL files to HD. Then load any *.IFO file in IFOEdit, click on Get VTS SEctors and okay to all questions. Exit and burn. Nero 6 can have problems burning dvdrs, I would suggest 5.5.10.54 (using UDF/ISO mode) instead of 6.x
