What is the difference between a cdr and dvdr? I thought that a dvd was just a recordable medium. How can I make my cd burner (Teac) see the dvdr as a cdr? Any help would be really great.

They are completely different & U cannot make your CDRW read a DVDR or burn to one BUT a DVD ROM &/or a DVDRW can deal with a CDR
