this is my first time using my DVD burner and my first time in the forum. I have a Pioneer DVR-104. I used a decrypter for my movie and that worked fine then i used intervideo dvd copy 2 and sucessfully burned the DVD. i tried it out on my computer and it plays fine then i tried it on my panasonic home DVD player and it will play fine to menu then when i start movie it freezes almost ever 10seconds. any ideas why this is happening?

what disks are you using what brand ... are they +R or -R !? is you home player compatible with both +R and -R or one or the other !?

have you tried another brand of disk !?

Does the movie play on your computer okay? Can you try it in a friends player? How did you create the backup(software used)?Never heard of the media you are using.Would suggest a lower burn speed unless it is a known good rebadge.

Also look for updated or hacked firmware for the Pioneer.

Same problem

I have had exactly the same problem as in all the films except one i have backed up have failed to work in exactly the same way that you said i have used the best possible media as suggested in this forum. But no sucess. I managed to copy finding nemo perfectly though it works great on panasonic.
The copies work fine on my PC and on other peoples laptops/PS2's so its a problem with the stupid player. What is the model number of your player mate. Im not at home at the moment but i will post it later.

Im using:
NEC1300a
DVD shrink latest version
Nero 6
and the best GO4 media
