DVD-R Problem...

Hello,

I have a problem with burning DVD-R...
If I burn 6 AVI files ( 650 MB up to 750 MB ) on a DVD-R
I cannot read all the files afterwards at the most i can read 2 files.
If I burn all (4.+GB) MP3 music files on the DVD-R it works good i guess.

Does someone wat the problem is? and why AutoPlay says it not a win32 application so therefore it does not work?

Who knows how I can solve this?
All answers are welcome....

NEC ND1300A
Burns DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-R, CD-RW
NASHUA DVD-R single sided used.

You have not explained what software you used to burn the files to the dvdr with nor the settings options you used. Some more info on that would help.

NERO 5.5.10.20 it is....


Option's:

* DVD-(ROM) ISO
* No Multisesion
* Add the BIG AVI file's
* And Burn 'NASHUA DVD-R'


Nothing special really....

Yep, nothing strange there.

Suggest you update Nero to the latest and also try Record Now Max 4.5 as thats what I use for all my Data disks and NEVER ever a problem.

I have heard that the nashua dvd-r are the problem.
The first test dvd 'verbatim' I have made has succeeded well....

Hmm... Nashua dvdr's the problem - not good. Do you know who makes them? Whats the Manuf ID in the disk ? (DVDDecryptor can tell you that)
