DVD-R or +R over 4.7Gig

will they ever make DVD-Rs over 4.7Gig caus CDs started at 70Mins or something(650MB) then they wnet to 80 Mins (700Mb) now melody make 90 or 99 Min CD-Rs (800-900 MB!!) so why have they not made DVD-Rs bigger like 5.0Gig or something!!??
