DVD Password encryption

Anyone out there know how to setup a password access on a single dvd disc, if that is indeed possible -ie when dvd is loaded into player a password is prompted on the screen which must be correctly entered before DVD movie play is allowed.

Any help seriously appreciated.

Don't believe that the DVD spec allows for that. You can protect your local DVD-ROM drive, but not the media itself - the DVD media has only CSS encryption to keep from (legally) copying to a computer, not from playing on a settop box. However, there may be a standards expert here who may know of an unused feature that acts as a restriction like the already in place feature to disable chapter navigation.
