DVD not able to play on PC

Why are most DVD's able to play on my PC and some not? The few that don't play on my PC do play fine on my home system. Any suggestions?

First I'm think this is in the wrong place. But give us some more info. Are you talking DVDs, BUs, SVCDs, VCDs. I ask because your in the DVD TO DIVX/(S)VCD section. So give us some info and I'm sure we can help you.

I guess because your DVD drive got region locked, but the info you provide is damn poor indeed.
