You guys are the best so i come to you for advice. Looking for the best tutorial for dvd to svcd. I tried the system from KalEl and their apps. but the outcome was dissapointing. Used the DVD rip guides. Sorry to be vague for now but just need general direction on procedure and proper programs. I don't care about encoding time just best quality. Thanx.

yup I would second that. & if you have a problem with any the tutorials (or something not turning out right), the mod/admin/tutor of those tutorials , aka ChickenMan, will help you out (or others here).
