dvd media opinions req

what is a good brand for backing up my dvd films ie brand speed i have a pioneer 106 and whos the cheapest in the u.k for disks

Ritek which you will find members talking about them all over the forum.:) Also what wrong with whats on top of the forum (XSCT) :confused: I'm in bushland (USA) so thats the best I can do.:D

Since you have the 106, you need DVD-R. The Pioneer doesn't use the + format discs. RW discs, are , in either format, ReWritable, and are not what you would use for final movie backups, but are ok for testing.

Nonsense. The Pioneer 106 is a DVD±RW - Dual format recorder.
The rest makes sense. DVD-R do appear to be slightly more compatible with more standalones than DVD+R.

Try Bigpockets, Blankdiskshop or XSCT.co.uk for UK suppliers.
Many others of-coarse.
