DVD-lab ?

i converted 12 media files in wmv format to dvd format using tmpgenc. i then used movie joiner tool by rejump.com to join the mpg files. keep in mind each mpg was around 30mb to 60mb anyways after joining them the result was around 200 to 400mb. i opened dvd lab and imported the file & after it was done demultiplexing the file the result was an mpv and mpa file. My problem is that the mpv file is only 38mb and mpa is 60mb, when played back the mpv is not the full video. I'm thinking the joiner has done a bad job and dvdlab is only seeing the first file i joined with the others. what can i do. ? should i not demux the files. if so what could happend if i dont & is there anyway to fix these files by using tmpgenc again.

You can use TMPGenc to join them all, go to File/MPEG Tools/Merg&Cut. Load then in the order you want them in, give an output name, set to MPEG2 Program(VBR) and hit run.

There is also no real need to join them either. As you author them in DVDLab, just add them all in one after the other in the order you want them to be. If you want it all to play continuous, just link the end of the first to the start of the second. The Next Chapter key will then jump to the next as well.

yeah i wont join them together, but like i said dvd lab wants to demux the files, can i just go ahead and click no cause when i hit yes i get that 38mb mpv file

ARRRRRRRRRG last post on this & thanks for the help chickenman, Anyone out there with rejump movie joiner uninstall it now. just a bad job at joining clips, when played back you can see WMP skipping to the next joined clip and tmpgenc is unable to see the whole clip. (e.g i loaded the 800mb mpg file into tmpgenc and attempted to convert it again the result was a 4min conversion and a 59mb mpg files. tmpgenc can only see the first clip joined. gotta find a way to fix the mpg.
