dvd freezeing

can anyone help .. im useing the new version of shrink and nero 6 .im backing up my dvd's no prob ..but about 3/4 the way into the movie they freeze ..i also tryied dvdx copy gold but still the same ..i use ritec dvd's

sounds like a burn quality problem, although ritek's are generally good discs. try scanning the dvds with dvdinfopro or nero cd speed for errors.
