dvd file to big

i've been trying to copy a dvd file, that i've made into an img using nero. i can't burn it onto a cd because the whole mds file is over 7gb big. my dvd burner is double layer but i dont know how to do that. the cd's i have are 4.7gb. is there anyway to burn that onto the 4.7gb disc? sorry for the post but i can't stay on internet to long, since now that my computer doesn't have internet access and i'm using a library's computer which dont give a long time for me to use.

Don't you have Nero Recode installed with your Nero package?It's specially for that task...

does nero recode have its own icon under the start menu like how burning rom and express does? im really clueless to these things. if yes, then i dont have it because its not there.

What Nero version do you have?If it's version 6,Recode should be a submap of Nero Vision Express...

i think i have version 5 so maybe that's the problem.

Nero 5 does not burn DVD's at all, and Nero 5.5 works with a limited range of devices.
Please, if you really want help, report accurately and not what you are "thinking" of.
