Dvd Duplicator Help Need

I have a alera 260124 cd/dvd duplicator that wont burn dvd movies is there a way to get around this I want to back up my movies but it doesn`t burn copyright movies any help at all please.p.s it`s also a standalone burner.

I just took a look at your duplicator and since it's a standalone there's no way to backup copy protected discs on it's own. But, it's supposed to have a usb 2.0 connection. If you have a PC with a dvd-rom there is a way to do it. On their site it says the alera 260124 (can also be used as a powerful 4x DVD Recorder when attached to a PC via the available external USB 2.0 connection).
