I have a DVD disk and try to back up it, whenever I put it in the DVD standalone player it read and load fine, when I put it in DVD PC's drive it keep load it and can't read it. Could someone please tell me how to read it in the PC's drive and what's type of the protection on the disk, I had a Sony DVD+RW DRU-120 work fine with the other DVD disk

Thanks

I upgraded my PC drive's firmware and I still cannot read or load the DVD disk, please help me what's the next step I have to do.

thanks

Ummm, I'd say trying it to another DVD-ROM device. If it's readable there then your drive may need lens cleaning at best, or binning at worst. I guess you ARE able to read other video DVD's right?

Hi alvinph72, Welcome to our forum! :cool:

do it like scarecrow told;
Have to add one question about, is the problematic DVD a retail/pressed DVD or a burned disc?
