Hello...

I've got a little problem, well not really a problem more like a nagging thing!!

When you rip and burn a DVD with DVD Decrypter why are the Subtitiles always ON when you play the film back in your DVD player?? Is there an option to turn this off??

Thanks

Are you sure you don't have it set in memory so that its turned on your DVD player? If thats not the case gives us more info. :)

Yep, I had that problem with my DVD Player as well. Thats why I never used ISO mode to read and write. However, the latest version seems to have fixed that problem for me. What version of DVD Decrypter are you using?

Erm... Version 3 I believe, its the one before the latest version just released?

Any idea of how to take them off then?

Any reason you aren't using the latest version?

I have use IFOEdit a few times to turn Subs on or off. Try this:

Load VTS_0x_0.IFO into IFOEdit, where x is normally 1
Open the VTS_PCG_1 window. Scan down and find the 1.Pre Command line. Right click and select Add Command. Then Right click the new line and select Edit. Scan down the options till you find (SetSTN) Set Subpicture Stream Nr, set the stream to 0 (assuming its the only one there) and the On/Off to OFF. Then hit the Save button. If more than 1 Subs stream you may have to turn them all off.
