DVD Decrypter, region change?

I've just noticed in Tools>IFO>Region Patch you can select region. Does this mean you can back up a region 1 DVD as region 2 by selecting it here? is it that straightforward or am I confusing things

I usually make em all region but yes AFAIK U can do that

Cheers M8, can anyone else confirm this works? I only have a few dvdr's and don't want to risk any.

I have not as yet tried to copy a region 1 to a region 2 disk, but, I normally take VHS video and write to DVD. All of the authoriging proggies author to region 0. I then use DVD Decrypter to change the region. Works like a charm.

Try using a RW dvd first before buring to a dvd..R

Pana LF-310 doesn't support DVRW, but thanks for the info, I'll give it a try.

if your dvd drive is region 1 u can add region 2 to a region 1 dvdr.
Otherwise you have to change the region of your dvd (rom or writer) or use a region hack or a software solution.
