DVD Decrypter is Greyed

In DVD Stripper, the dvd decrypter (ver 3.1.7) is greyed out. I have pointed to the source correctly (installed using demon tools), identified the path for destination, backup and temp. Even after filling all fields, the rip buton is greyed. Any help is appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums

make sure you have the 'make backups' option ticked. There are 5 fields to fill out

the Ifoedit path
the Drive source
the Temporary folder
the destination folder
the Backup folder (make sure it's ticked)

if you have legitimate paths for all 5 then the rip button should not be greyed out

I had all 5 fields filled out. But still, the rip button is greyed.

I've got the same problem, all 5 fields filled out, dvd decrypter 3.1.7.0 installed and the 'Rip using dvd decrypter' button is greyed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using DVDStripper under the same account you installed DVDDecrypter with ?

@T3L3C0N, get hold of the latest version of DVDDecrypter which is 3.1.9.0

and try installing it on the same acount as DS as TMG mentions

I have only one account on my machine (windows XP Home). So I think both DS and DVDDecrypter is using the same account.

MackemX: I haven't tried DVD Decrypter 3.1.9 as it said in FAQ that it is not supported or something like that. Is it okay to use 3.1.9 along with DS?

I have the same problem. Only tried the latest version of DVD Decrypter (3.1.9.0?) though. Anyone found out what the problem is yet? Let me know if you want any further details to help pin down the problem.

After installing DVD Decrypter 3.1.9, DS saw the 'Rip using DVD Decrypter' button. Everything is working fine now. Thanks guys

I managed to sort out my problem by reinstalling DVD Decrypter. I assume DVDStripper gets the location from the registry?
