Dvd Burning Problems

Hi, I'm Having Problems Burning Dvd'd......not Quite Sure What Info Would Be Helpful But Here Goes.i Have Following The Dvd For Beginners, Installing Dvd Decrypter & Shrink, Aspi Layer, Dma Enabled Etc. When I Use Shrink I Receive And Error Message "data Error (cyclic Redunancy Check) My Cd-rom - Nec Dvd_rw Nd-1300a In System Info Under Ide "standard Ide Ata/atapi Controller" Primary & Secondary Ide Channel, Also "sis Pci Ide Controller". My Computer Came Installed With "record Now". Any Info Or Advise Would Be Grateful......kind Regards

hi & welcome
if u r gettin data Error (cyclic Redunancy Check),most probably the disc is pretty damaged n can't b read...do u still get the msg with other discs n did u tried it with diff readers?

i have tried several dvd's 2 being brand new ones. also if i try using dvd decrypter the message i receive is "scsi status 0x 2 check condition"... is this message refering to the disc as well, or to the condition of the player. thanking you in anticipation
