yes, but you will need to convert the DVD into either a DivX or (S)VCD standard. The (S)VCD will play in your CD-ROM drives & most DVD players (that support VCDs). DivX will only play on a computer with DivX encoders.
I am not sure if that is what you wanted to know, cause I have seen a lot of people claim you can actually copy your DVDs to a regular CD media & it will be a DVD which you can play in your DVD player. This is ofcourse false (at least to my knowledge), cause they are in different formats & you can't possibly fit 4Gigs+ from a DVD disc to only 700MB on a regular CD.
