* New feature: Win9x/Me systems now fully supported. The program will try to load and utilize ASPI manager (wnaspi32.dll) on Win9x/Me systems.
* The UI now displays well on Win98 and above.
* Update to Lame 3.96.
Known Limits
The following is a list of known issues for current version of DVD Audio Extractor:
* DVD-Audio format not supported
Issue: DVD Audio Extractor only support audios in DVD-Video discs, i.e., it reads VOB files under VIDEO_TS directory. DVD-Audio discs store audio tracks under AUDIO_TS directory and use different formats with DVD-Video.
Suggestion: Many DVD-Audio discs also come with an DVD-Video zone for compatibility with DVD-Video players. In this case, you can extract audios from them as normal DVD-Video discs.
* DTS audio software decoding not supported
Issue: Only the Direct Stream Demux method can be selected for DTS audio streams.
Suggestion: Discs with DTS audio generally include alternate versions in Dolby Digital AC-3 and/or Linear PCM format. You can use these alternate sound tracks instead of the DTS one. You can also play the demuxed DTS stream on audio players which is capable of decoding it.
