DV export problem (strange)

The problem is the following: when I want to export a movie back to my DV camera it starts off fine, but at random points I get a black screen for about a second. Sometimes this happens after 30 seconds or so, sometimes right at the start. These black screens keep appearing at random during the export. The camera is fine, I have used it before in exporting and it worked without a hitch. I tried switching the firewire cable to a different port but no difference. I get this error on all software I have tried, including Premiere 6, Vegas Video 3 and Ulead Videostudio 6. My drives are both ATA100 enabled so they are fast enough.
My System Specs:

AMD Athlon 1Ghz 256kb L2 Cache
512 MB SDRAM PC133
Abit KT7A Mainboard (Bios version 7n)
Nvidia GeForce 2 MX 400
Creative SB Live! Value
IBM 30GB 7200RPM ATA100
Maxtor 60GB 7200 RPM ATA133
Belkin Firewire
Netgear Ethernet Adapter

WinXP Pro
VIA 4in1 version 4.38
Nvidia Detonators v28.32

After capturing with Premiere the video is compressed using the DVsoft codec by Adaptec which seems to be the default codec in use by Windows XP.

Any ideas would be very appreciated as I have a big job coming up and I need everything to work by then or I'm totally screwed...

Thanks in advance.

Have you already configured your camera in Premiere?

Premiere comes with specific drivers for some cameras I had a similar problem with a JVC camera and solved using the drivers that are included inside Premiere.

Hi

I have the same problem as cawdor  ... Does anybody know how to solve it because I am running out of ideas? I would be grateful.

Maybe cowdor has solved his problem, let´s wait for him to post to know what happened.

@jaka2klec
Meanwhile you could post your configuration and what camera are using so that everyone could try to help you

I have:

ABIT KT7a v1.3
AMD Thunderbird 1.2 GHz
320 MB SDRAM
Inno3D GeForce MX400 64MB
Creative Live! Value
Pinnacle FireWire
IBM 40GB (ATA100) & WD 6GB (ATA66)

and

Panasonic NV-DS65 digital camra

Your system is very much alike to cowdor´s, have you tried installing the latest drivers avaible? specially for the chipset and video, if not then download the latest drivers for your components and install them.

What OS are you running?
