Hi guys,

I have read all of the Newbies tutes & FAQS. I'm trying to back up my Dropship United Peace Force PS2 DVD.

I've tried using Alcohol 120% v1.4.3. full, CloneDVD, (DVD X Copy Express for movies) & RecordNow Max (can't use PrimoDVD as my Sony is not compatible yet..) I haven't had any trouble before now. I also have Alcoholer v4.0b & ClonyXXXL 2.0.1.5

I get an error message on both Alcohol 120% & RecordNow at 87% of the way through the read / dumping of the data.

The complete data size is 1.91 GB. At 1.67 GB the drive spins down and I get an error message - Error Message [03/02/01]- Undocumented Error Message
Image file writing Aborted!

Any suggestions?!?

Hi and welcome.. :)
I must apologize we do have a Game's forum which at this time is down and hope to B back up and running soon. But in the mean time hope our members can help you...
Sorry once again..

Full Alcohol logfile, please...
As for the PrimoDVD issue, it does nothing more that RecordNowMax (quite the opposite, although it may appeal instead for some old Pentium 200MMX machines (much lighter on resources).
Since Sonic acquired the Prassi series programs from Veritas they have created a complete mess:
- US distributor Stomp offers still RecordNowMax 4.5
- Japanese distributor Easy Systems offers RecordNowMax 4.6
- European distributor Orlogix does not offer recordNowmax at all currently (!!!), only RecordNowDx4.6...
- Latest pxengine update at Sonic Site is 408, which is three months old- but Sonic have issued themselves a newer build which they don't offer for download! It is pxengine 418, which one can get from the Primera duplicators site:
http://www.primeratechnology.com/exe/pxEngine418.exe
I think this last update will support Sony 510 9as well as other burners) properly in all prassi faamily products, including RecordNow- something and PrimoDVD.
