Double layer burning

I read from here (http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=26515&highlight=double+layer) how to copy double layered DVD for my original post (http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=38233&goto=newpost).
I seem to be a bit complicated.

I just want to burn the exact copy, which mean i'll need 2 DVD for that dvd. Is there an easier way?
