divx5 registration !!!!!

hi.....

I see that the DAMN key gen for this prog..... I want to install
on home pc(no internet connection), in this case how can i get the
URL so that i can generate the key!!! Has any1 tried this !!!

I hv not tried yet this, as this once screwed my machine and i hv to reinstall the OS...

BTW how do i know what divx ver(3.11, 4.12 , 5) is used to playback divx file.

in win 98se

while playing the avi click on properties
in windows medial player if you right click on the title and hit properties it will tell you in the box what version it was encoded in

if i remember right i think you can right click on the file and hit properties (in windows explorer) and it will tell what codec was used

I am bit serious... i dont want to reinstall OS after installing
divx5!!!!! as i had lost of problem...

my goodnes, NO you ain't need to be connected :)

just download DivXPro5Bundle.exe and dm_dv50f.zip from the main page and read the nfo file attached to the keygen m8.

"Registration of DivX Pro 5.0 is a bit tricky.
Get your favourite digital video encoding tool and try to encode some
movie in DivX 5 format. Registration dialog will appear.
Start keymaker and enter Serial number ( 1-st edit box ) into
corresponding fields in DivX registration dialog.
In the registration dialog press Step 2 -> Web -> Print URL.
Copy the whole URL string into keymaker's "Activation URL string"
field.
Press "Generate" and copy generated Activation code into Step 3 ->
Enter Activation Code -> Activation Code. "

no offence m8 and have fun :)

The big problem is that the DAMN keygen doesn't work in Windows XP. It starts in minimized mode, and I'm not able to open it to enter anything. Help me anyone?

divx 5.0* registration/installation

Sorry to post again!!

I am un-successful in installing the divx5* codec, everytime i install, the installation goes fine without any error, but i never see
the CODEC in compression window of Vdub, i see the codec in Device manager/video codecs!!!!
This has pissed off me from ver 5.0 :( . I hd even reinstalled codec a couple of times, removed all the registry related to divx5 and gator, but no luck. even re-installed OS also.

After a re-install of v5, i don't even see divx 4.12 codec also.

Does my machine need to be connected to internet for activation??? or atleast to see in the codec in Vdub, i dont hv internet connection.

OR is there CODEC PACK ONLY(no gator stuff)... by now someone should hv done this !!!!

Plz .... any1 help me :(
