no I don't think so Shoeb, as I have a couple and no problems with it. Could be a particular setting or just something odd running in the background (antivirus) or something.
Some people do have more issues with DivX 5.02 (especially on winXP machines), while others don't. Although personally I think it would be better if someone went to 3.11alpha then (as more widely used over 4.x, but that's just a matter of taste).
PS
some people do run into problems when using download managers as the encoding process hogs a lot of memory and is writing at the same time your download is writing on the HDD. Try without getright on, but if still doesn't solve the problem, then just try 3.11 or 4x
