divx3/4/5 playback filters

How can i make sure that the avi encoded with divx3 play back by Div3 and divx4 by divx4 and similary 5 by divx5.....
I see that even divx3 content is played by divx5, a registry file is available @ doom9, but ist for 3 and 5 only but not for 4.....
Has any1 know where can i get this reg file...

DivX 5 is really an upgrade on DivX 4, I would suggest you go that way. They have also said they are pulling all support for DivX 4, again because its old and replaced by 5. Even @ doom9, they have dropped all support for DivX 4 in their guides, etc.
