Divx ReEncode

Is there no way to ReEncode a SVCD to DivX
and get a NICE outcome?

Iive tryed it alot and the outfile is always crappy

Do I have to get the VOBs for that?

A simple way to convert SVCD to DivX and get excellent results is to use Vidomi. Have a read of the DVD to DivX tutorial but load the SVCD mpeg file in instead. Follow the rest of the tutorial for settings.
