divx problems

hi can anyone help plz have bambi cartoon for kids onto pc which plays fine on pc thro divxplayer but when i try to burn it to disc using nero have picture and sound but sound is out of sync just new to this can anyone help . have got a stand alone divx player thanx

When Nero burnt to disc, did it re-encode it to VCD ? Or did you simply make a data disk and copy the avi to cdr? If it was re-encoded to VCD then Nero is known to put audio out of sync. But as you say you have a Divx standalone player, then you should just copy the avi to a data disk using ANY burning software.
