Hello
Every Divx avi movie I play has the same problem in that after 5-30 minutes the sound becomes distored as if it was underwater or stuttering.
Happens on multile players : Windows MP; BS Player; ViedoLAN; Divx palyer.
I've installed various codec packs to try to fix the issue:
tsunami_filter_pack_3_8_9_mini -- Klite codec pack-- ffdshow-20030523
to no avail.
I have a AMD 2.8GHZ with a gig of ddr running XP
Me sound card is STaudio C port 2000 (hoontech) and I have the latest drivers installed. I changed the master clock to the lowest setting 32000Hertz and palyer with different buffers to no avail. I did swap out for a soundblaster which worked; but the staudio is such a better card I'd like to use only that one.
Any suggestions? I did see this exact same problem with another user on another board (unknown soundcard) but no one responded -- so I know I'm not alone. It happens on Divx avi's only.
Any help would be very apreciated. Thanks in advance.
