Divx on a dvd player

no but if you have a dreamcast there is a player you can burn to a cdr that plays them just fine and dandy hehehe like i do !!

There is no way to play DivX movies on your standalone DVD player without converting it to VCD/SVCD first, but there are a couple of manufacturers waiting for license to get passed to use them (as they have already built a machine that does this: panasonic & kenwood I know have done this) with their new DVD players.
There is also an attachment machine I have seen on TV that plugs into your TV for DivX movie playback. But when these will be released to the public if ever -- is anybodies guess. I doubt anytime soon (as hollywood trying to stop this type of media).
