Beta 2 is available

DivX 5.0.4 Schizo Beta 2
DivX is a package that includes all the DivX codec, player, utilities, and documentation that you need to play DivX files. DivX codec is based on the MPEG-4 compression standard. This codec can reduce an MPEG-2 video (DVD format) to ten percent of its original size. DivX is a digital video compression technology based on the ISO MPEG-4 standard.

Changes in Current Version:
Fixed a problem where the DivX Codec and EKG Beta Trial would not work unless you were a registered user of DivX Pro. Now anyone can beta test the Schizo release, even people who are not registered users of DivX Pro

I found this one rather dissapointing-pretty much like 5.0.3.
They have to issue something better, or else the case is closed in favour of xvid.

and a new version of koepis xvid build came out today, it fixes some problems with bframes and it gives better results than any divx that will ever be made IMHO ;)
