Not even sure i'm in the right section but i'll ask here anyway!
I have a goodmans GDVD161DX div-x player that i think i may have damaged though i'm not sure how.
I bought it in november 2004 and everything was working fine.it played all div-x,mp3,mpeg and dvd's,then i came across a site that gave description's on how to unlock it to any region.So i did it and it said on the display region00.
Now i'm not sure if it was after this that the problem started or before but now i can play an official dvd and everything is working the visual and all the background noises but no main audio,for example when somebody talk's you cant hear them but you may hear a train passing in the background or a car horn but no dialogue etc...
Also the cd tray wont open for a few hours then it will seem to fix it's self.
Has anyone any experience of these players,or enough to tell me how i can repair it if indeed i have damaged it.
Also one note of importance is that it doesnt effect all original DVD's only some.
