have you looked at the file with "gspot" ?! to see what codecs are needed !?
install whatever codecs "gspot" tells you the file needs

Well that would be Microsoft MPEG4 v3, which isn't (according to MS) supposed to be used in AVI's. What player are you using?
You could try changing the FourCC to DIV3 (DivX 311alpha low motion) should playback ok. Could also try using ffdshow to decode.

I have downloaded another one. The video works fine but there is no sound. And now?
Well the video has nothing to do with the audio.
If it is using ms mpeg4 then it probably uses WMA v2 aka DivX audio.

GSpot says for audio media:

Well windows comes with an mp3 decoder.
It was just a stupid hardware problem and is solved now. Thanks for the support.
