Disk Boot Sector Warning

At first, I'm running with Win98SE with my 30GB HDD. I decided to add another partition using Partition Magic7. I then installed WinXPpro in it. Everytime I changed OS (as my work demands), I used PQ Boot, a utility in Partition MAgic7.
I installed BootMagic 7 even then to directly choose an OS every time I started my PC. I was surprised when I got this message during boot-up:
"Warning!!!"
Disk boot sector is to be modified. Type "Y" to accept, any key to abort.
Award Software Inc.

How do I get rid of this stuff so that my windows will boot up normally & continuously?

Any help is needed...

thats in your bios settings, i cant remember the exact location its in, but once in bios, look around for virus warning and disable it. :)

I'll check my bios settings...

Thanks Kaffra;)

I'll try to disable the virus detection setting of my bios.
But how safe is my PC when it is disabled?

Regards......

hi, no probs man,
the virus warning in bios is just warning you because of pqboots usage of the boot sector. Its more of a nuisance, might as well get a real antivirus software for real(somewhat better) safety :)

hope it helps

Bios Virus Warning

Kaffra, you're right!:D

The "Virus Warning" settings in my bios was enabled. When I disabled it, my pc booted-up continuously.
Thank you for the idea!

More power to ya...........
