This utility is designed to safely remove the DirectX runtime core component from Windows 9X, Millennium and Windows 2000 operating systems. DXE gives you the power to install and uninstall any version of DirectX as you wish.

Update: DirectX Eradicator 1.09 is now available for download. This preview release includes several enhancements, plus full DirectX 9.0 and Windows XP support. Keep in mind - this is "beta" software - therefore it may or may not perform as expected!
