@zver, dvd audio can be LPCM (normal stereo or 5.1 wav), DD (AC3) or DTS. If your sound card can handle 5.1 (6) ch sound and you can capture it as 6, then just use AC3Machine or BeSweet to convert to 5.1ch AC3 and then burn to DVD with your encoded Video. Personly I have no idea what software can record 5.1 ch audio, but I would start a search on Google or check out
http://www.mpegx.com/ and see if they have anything specific for the job.
dts or dd 5.1, it would be hard pressed for the average listener to ever hear any differenc between the 2. Just 2 opposing companies with different standards.
We satred with mono sound, was great. Then stereo, that was fantastic. Then came quad, was 2 complicated and cost the earth so died a natuaral death. Then dd with 2,3,4 or 5.1 ch came with DVD audio to simulate theartre sound, fantastic. Now 6.1, 7.1, where will it end, who knows. (who cares!) One thing for sure is though, we only have 2 ears, well most of do.
