Deus Ex 2: Invisible War problems

Hi.

I've recently rented Deus Ex 2: Invisible War for the Xbox. Every time I put the disc inside my xbox the loading screen appears, and, after that, the game crashes (it goes to MS dashboard screen).

Could anybody tell me what the hell is happening?

Have you tried cleaning the disk ?!

Is the disk scratched or scuffed?!

No, I have not tried cleaning the disc because its surface is perfectly clean and does not have any scratches.
